How to Edit an Existing Post on WordPress via the Dashboard
Editing a post on your WordPress site is straightforward. Follow these steps to make changes:
- Log into Your WordPress Dashboard:
- Open your web browser and go to
yourwebsite.com/wp-admin
. - Enter your username and password, then click "Login."
- Navigate to Posts:
- Once logged in, locate the "Posts" menu on the left-hand sidebar.
- Click on "All Posts." This will display a list of all your posts.
- Select the Post to Edit:
- Find the post you want to edit from the list. You can use the search bar if needed.
- Hover over the title or the “Edit” link under the post, then click on "Edit."
